The 46 Armchair embodies excellent comfort and high quality materials, representing the very best of Danish Modern furniture design. It was originally designed in 1946 for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition for master cabinetmaker Niels Vodder. In the years between 1947 and 1949, Finn Juhl modified the chair into a simpler, more aerodynamic version for the furniture manufacturer Bovirke.
Crafted from solid walnut and upholstered in premium Nevada leather, this ex-display dining chair is in excellent condition and has been carefully displayed in our showroom. Available to view in our Edinburgh showroom, with additional photographs available upon request. Sold as seen.
